What’s this magical place, you ask?
The Love in Haight Fairy Garden is a sidewalk succulent garden and art installation that aims to touch all those who pass by with its magic and lend a sense of awe and wonder to the every day. The garden is comprised of countless individual arrangements that come together and give form to an ever-changing structure.
The garden heavily promotes the use of upcycled containers paired with rare and unique succulents that are never seen outside of private collections. While fairies, gnomes, and other creatures can be spotted throughout the garden by day, the real magic comes alive at night as the garden transforms into a fairy lit wonderland.
It’s run as a CA registered nonprofit project to beautify the area, spark joy, and invite play. All are welcome to explore respectfully, take photos, and share.
